Knit Along

Featuring Michelle Hunter of Knit Purl Hunter

Skacel Collection, Inc. is proud to announce its second Knit Along series hosted by Michelle Hunter of Knit Purl Hunter. This series will feature a shawlette, two pairs of socks, and a pair of mittens; each project introducing the knitter to a new technique, and each technique is supported with educational video clips posted on Knit Purl Hunter. Each project will run for one month, beginning on the first Thursday of the given month. October 6th will be Launch Day for the KAL and Cast On Day for the first project, followed by new projects for November, January and February. December will be a month-long holiday, so you can catch up with your gift knitting!

Instructions for each project will be posted in increments on a weekly basis, along with the educational “how-to” video clips. Each week a little bit more will be revealed!

Knit Along Overview

• Each month will feature a single project, introducing specific knitting techniques.
• Each project will feature a specific yarn which can be purchased at your local yarn shop.
• Instructions for the projects will be posted at knitpurlhunter.com
• Instructions for each month will be posted in four segments, with each segment revealing the next step.
• The 1st segment of each pattern will be posted on the first Thursday of the month.
• The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th segments will be posted on the subsequent second, third, and fourth Thursdays of that month.
• Each project will feature a different technique.
• Video Clips on these techniques will be posted on line at a special website.
• Once posted, all instructions will remain on the website through March 15th, 2012.
• A forum for questions and comments can be found on website.
